The new Battlefield game will be called Battlefield 1 and release on October 21, 2016. The Battlefield Series is going back to its Roots and it ‘s World War 1 era. Dice calls it’s the dawn of all-out warfare. Battlefield 1 will take you to all new global locations and it will be very visceral more than any other battlefield before it. This Battlefield will have the largest vehicles in the series to date. In addition there will be new melee weapons and for the first time in the series you will able to mount and ride horses together with your squad. During the live the stream the developers mentions a new squad system that will carry over your squad members from server to server a much requested feature. There will be an Early Enlisted Deluxe Edition that will provide early access to the game on Oct 18, 2016 and sign up for the Battlefield insider for news and possible access to a beta.
Battlefield 5 is set to be revealed this coming Friday May 6 at 4pm ET/1 pm PT. The World premiere will be on Twitch live from London. A new Battlefield is due later this year, and Dice has decided Over the next few months to give away some of it’s previously released expansion packs for both Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline regardless of the platform you play on.
Starting on May 3rd to May 10th the first free expansion pack is Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth. which includes 4 Asian Pacific maps for you to engage in intense urban battles. The expansion adds new game mode called Chain Link, a game mode that brings another layer of depth and strategy to the multiplayer mayhem. Act fast and link together capture points to secure the win. In addition a new community mission in Battlefield 4 asks player to jump into any mode and map and score 2.5 million Melee kills to get a Gold Battlepack. This mission is active between May 3, 2016 9Am PT and May 10, 2016 9AM Pt.
During the same time frame you can also grab Battlefield Hardline Robbery Expansion for Free. This expansion will include 4 new maps, Robbery’s maps and game mode are designed to let criminal teams plan and execute the perfect heist; or, for law enforcement, to get the crooks in cuffs before they can pull it off. A new game mode: Squad Heist, Built as an homage to the beloved Squad Rush in Battlefield 3, this mode combines the combat of Battlefield with the intimate fantasy of a classic heist. In addition a new community mission for Heist mode ask that a score of 300K points to get a Gold Battlepack This mission is active between May 3, 2016 9AM PT and May 10, 2016 9AM PT.
Both games have been discounted to $9.99 on PS4, Xbox One, Origin for PC. Giving away some free content is a good way to get the community playing and excited about a new Battlefield game. I’m much more excited for the new Battlefield game than Call of Duty infinite what are you guys or gals looking forward to let us know.
