After a solid month of speculation and leaks, Activision has officially released the trailer for Call of Duty: WWII. This title, which will release on November 3rd, will return the series to its roots. The trailer features much of the same gritty, on-the-ground violence that we saw in movies like Saving Private Ryan and the excellent Band of Brothers series. The trailer was fully cinematic and hea...[Read More]
A new universe shall be forged… I’m still trying to catch up after my right knee decided to do its best impression of a balloon. This one is late as a result. Yesterday, Capcom released the first story trailer for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite. Along with fleshing out more of the impetus for the crossover, new characters are revealed. The biggest reveal, of course, is the reveal of the ul...[Read More]
As a recent convert to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor, I was pleased when Warner Bros. announced a sequel. While the trailer for Middle Earth: Shadow of War looked great, I wanted to see gameplay. Warner Bros. promised a gameplay trailer, and the have now delivered. Of course, I plowed through the new trailer to ingest everything they had coming in the game. There has been a bit of speculation as to who the 24th hero in Overwatch is going to be. Many speculated that Doomfist, the hero turned villain, would make an appearance. It turns out that the new hero selected as the latest playable hero is the entity selected to protect the city of Numbani: Orisa! The posting was for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, the sequel that has been teased ...[Read More]
At times like this, I look up to my Digital Crack mate, Punisher. He’s the optimistic one of the bunch; I am a pessimistic old grump. I showed him the Avengers Project announcement trailer from Marvel Entertainment and Square Enix and I asked for his thoughts. I was hoping that he would put a positive spin on what I assumed would be painful. I also explained to him that the project will be a multi...[Read More]
I’ve been a huge fan of the Ace Combat series ever since the first title, Air Combat, released on the original PlayStation. I have played all the mainline series, which were exclusive to Sony consoles until Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation, which was curiously only for the Xbox 360. Until now, however, the only multiplatform title in the series has been Ace Combat: Assault Horizon. That ent...[Read More]
A new story trailer has been released for the upcoming Injustice 2 game. While it doesn’t show any gameplay, the cinematics show a lot of the story behind the game. It’s quite dramatic. Also, I have to call shenanigans on the end bit. You will see why. Injustice 2 is set to release on May 19, 2017 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

I cared about three things and three things only: Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, Mufasa ...[Read More]

EA has released a new trailer for BioWare’s MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA today. For fans of the series, there is enough here to intrigue. The game has a vague release of Spring 2017, and I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that’s too long a wait!
