During the PlayStation Experience keynote, The Last of Us 2 was teased and confirmed.

What are we still doing here discussing it????

The sequel to one of the move beloved games on the PlayStation 3 (and remastered for the PlayStation 4) has been confirmed. Fanboys around the world rejoice at the announcement.

The trailer is nothing more than a teaser. The beginning shows a world that is destroyed. Soon, the trailer shows someone tuning a guitar before playing a tune. The song the person sings is apocalyptic and depressing. The person is none other than Ellie, the female protagonist from The Last of Us. The song follows some gruesome scenes, some from the eyes of another.

The other is, of course, Joel. Both are older (Ellie looks about 19) and more grizzled. Joel asks Ellie if she’s really going to go through with it.

Ellie: “I;m gonna find…and I’m gonna kill…every…last…one of them.”

It is, as they say, on.

This sequel has been anticipated by many. With Naughty Dog behind it, there should eb no doubt that it will deliver. We shall see.
