I will say up front that I am not a Power Rangers fan. The Saban TV show was well after my time. Cousin Jose, however, is currently on suicide watch. He grew up watching the show and with what he saw has him completely apoplectic. How apoplectic? I’m glad you asked:

So Goldar is a gold monster, literally. So no Putty Patrols, but rock monsters? The Zords looks cool and the suits looks interesting, keeping the feel of the original (kinda). Fuckin’ Alpha 5 (voiced by Bill Hader), like WTF man. Ugh, this movie shall fail.

I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that he’s not juiced. Kinda like how I feel about the upcoming CHIPs movie starring Rico Pendejo from Idiocracy and NOT Luis from Ant-Man. Well, maybe Zordon (Bryan Cranston) will go full Heisenberg and shoot everyone. I bet that’ll cheer Cousin Jose up. The movie comes out March 24th either way, so hopefully, he’ll medicate himself appropriately.
