Supergirl takes a cue from the creators of Watchmen.
Before they created Watchmen, Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons worked on Superman Annual #11 together. The result was one of the most famous Superman stories of all time: “For the Man Who Has Everything.”
And now, CBS’ Supergirl has taken its cue from that story and inserted Kara Zor-El into the Man of Steel’s place.
