Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection Revealed for PS4 and Xbox One

There’s an Assassin’s Creed movie coming soon with no new games to take advantage of it. It looks like Ubisoft is doing the next best thing.

A NeoGAF post shows a leaked picture from a Korean ratings board. The picture lists Assassin’s Creed Ezio Collection for the PlayStation 4. A second link leading to the actual ratings site shows the listing for both the PS4 and the Xbox One.

The filing would suggest the upcoming entry will be a remastering of the Ezio titles in the series. Ezio’s story spanned three games: Assassin’s Creed 2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. The trilogy is considered by many fans as the best of the series. Ubisoft released the trilogy in package, called Assassin’s Creed: Ezio Trilogy, in 2012 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.

I’m not a fan of remastering last-gen titles, but the opportunity to relive the Ezio storyline with updated visuals might be too tempting for me. Ubisoft has not officially confirmed the title, but one would think they would soon. The Assassin’s Creed movie releases on December 21st, and coinciding the game’s release with the movie sounds like the right thing to do.
