When you watch Aaron Soetaert playing Call of Duty: Black Ops III during one of his livestreams, you may not initially notice anything out of the ordinary. Livestreams of people playing video games and doing well are pretty much part and parcel of video streaming sites like YouTube and Twitch. One would have to have a pretty interesting gimmick to stand out from the crowd. Aaron’s YouTube channel ...[Read More]
The latest trailer for Blizzard’s Warcraft movie isn’t too exciting in my opinion, but I stay hopefully optimistic. In the meantime, I love looking at projects like this, a shot-for-shot redo of the movie trailer using the World of Warcraft graphics engine. Seeing this, I get the sudden urge to renew my subscription to the game.
Atlus’ political JRPG, Citizens of Earth for the Nintendo 3DS was removed from Nintendo’s eShop after an exploit was discovered that allows users to run modified or pirated software on a 3DS. A post on the Atlus USA Facebook page mentioned the removal of the game but did not mention the exploit. The hackers behind the exploit that there was nothing special about the title that the exploit targets....[Read More]

The early reviews for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse are pretty, well, apocalyptic. The latest film in the X-Men mutant universe is sporting a 55% on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer as of this writing, and garnering quite a bit of negativity. Among the most scathing negativity is a review by Forbes reviewer Scott Mendelson, who labels the film a “franchise-killing disaster” right on the title. Scot...[Read More]
I may be the Old School Gaming Specialist of the Digital Crack Network, but retro gaming isn’t my only passion. In addition to video games old and new, comics, technology, and any bar that has a Dollar Shot night, I love sports. My favorite American sports teams are, in order of love and history, The Miami Dolphins, the University of Miami Hurricanes, the Miami Heat, and the Florida Panthers. Do n...[Read More]
I am a living oxymoron. I am, by nature, a calm, caring, simple person who wants nothing more than good times, calm waters, and no problems. I am quick to crack a joke, and my humor can be rather dark, but I am mellow and easy going. You wanna unwind and forget about life’s bullshit? Stop by Casa Uncle Willy. The only thing allowed here is chill. And booze. But I am a hot-blooded gamer on the insi...[Read More]
