DICE and EA have already mentioned that Battlefield 1 will begin its open beta on August 31st. One thing that has been missing, however, has been an end date for the beta. Turns out, it wasn’t an oversight, as the official Battlefield Twitter account noted:
@cameronmac21420 The Open Beta begins August 31st, but we don't have the end date just yet. Stay tuned for more Beta info soon.

For those that signed up for the free Battlefield Insider service prior to August 21st, they will be able to start the beta ahead of the official start date. Of course, that timetable hasn’t been set, either.
@AeroX_143 Sorry, Justin. We don't have a date on when the codes will be sent. Keep an eye on your inbox!

The beta for Battlefield 1 is being held on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It’s an open beta, so come August 31st, you can jump right in without needing a code. The game will be released on those platforms on October 21st.
