Battlefield 4 and Hardline Getting New UI

Battlefield 4 and Hardline Getting New UI

Battlefield 4 was a bug-riddled mess when it was released three years ago. DICE, however, has never stopped fixing and fine-tuning the game. Soon, it and its successors are getting an all-new user interface that will make it easier to set up squads.

The new user interface will be rolled out to Battlefield 4, Battlefield Hardline, and Battlefield 1. It will allow players to create squads before a game and let them switch between games easily without breaking up the squad. The official Battlefield blog posting mentions the ability for a squad to jump from a Battlefield 1 map to a Battlefield 4 map with absolute ease.

The new UI is currently being rolled out for a small audience in beta form. The UI will be released in full on October 21st, coinciding with the launch of Battlefield 1 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It will arrive on Battlefield Hardline soon after that.
