Black Panther Non-Spoiler Review

WAKANDA!!!!!!!!! Hey everyone!!! We get kind of an origin story of the black panther. We start the movie in the 90’s where they show you kids playing Basketball and in the sky, we see a ship creeping in the clouds going to a rooftop. We get a view of 2 guys looking like their planning something and freaking out thinking the FBI is at the door. But once the door opens we get the lady worriers and Black Panther who’s a younger version of King T’Chaka and he addresses to his brother N’Jobu that he needs to go back to Wakanda for a crime he’s done and must face it but he refuses. We go back outside and see the ship leaving and the kids seeing the ship. Once that’s over we are in the present times seeing after the events in Captain America: civil war, King T’Challa returns homes to the reclusive, technologically advanced African Nation of Wakanda to serve as his country’s new leader.

This movie was really good and I must admit but Michael B. Jordan was just a badass a great villain with a pretty deep story. Chadwick Boseman is hands down the awesome. As T’Challa and Black Panther, you see he very cool and calm in parts of the movie where you think he’s going to panic or just freeze up. You really need to think about it folks. T’Challa lost his dad, because king right there and then, also be the black panther and represent Wakanda. I’m sorry but if I don’t get an order right I lose it and this mad was cool like it was not even phasing it but, it was. We discover that he speaks to his dad from the dead and fears being alone without him and wanting to more guidance to this role of being king of Wakanda. He’s also Lucky enough to have his loyal friends and family like his sister Shuri. Shuri is just a delight when she’s on screen bring in humor and being the one making and designing things for Black Panther and Wakanda army. Shuri I always looking after her brother making sure if set at all time.

There is no downtime in the movie and has some good funny moments where it goes back to being serious. You don’t get that slapstick comedy or running gag. The humor is on point but it still sticks to the plot of the movie and where you don’t lose the focus on the real picture and message it must give you. If you’re a comic book fan or just like action movies I highly suggest seeing this movie. This movie gets a solid 9 out of 10.  I have my reasons but I can’t spoil it 🙂

I would love to hear your thought about the movie and let me know if I missed or maybe you think I graded it wrong. I want to hear your thoughts. Until next time, I’ll see you in the movies
