Back in mid-July, we mentioned that Capcom may have plans to bring a remastered Dead Rising to the PlayStation 4. Capcom was reticent to talk about the veracity of the rumors. Today, Capcom has confirmed the game is indeed coming, and it has let everyone know it will have lots of company.

The publisher has announced remasters of Dead Rising, Dead Rising 2, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. They will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 13th. The remasters will sport full 1080p60 visuals and include all DLC costumes released for the games. The games will be available for $19.99 each, and a triple pack will retail for $49.99.

The original game in the series was exclusive to the Xbox 360 upon release. The sequel and its spinoffs were available to both 360 and PS3 owners.

Curiously, Capcom is not giving DR2 prequel Case Zero or its Case West DLC the remaster treatment. Regardless, the ability to play remastered versions of the original three games is still a great thing, especially if you never owned an Xbox 360.
