Cobra Kai: Season 2 Impression

Cobra Kai: Season 2 Impression

Cobra Kai: Season 2 is finally here! after the long wait!

Last year I gave my impression about Season 1 of Cobra Kai and loved it! Season 2 is a little different though. Season 2 is a slow start from where we left off but picks up. I still say Daniel (Played by Ralph Macchio) is a dick! I mean he never changes. From Karate Kid we known he’s a hot head and still never learns his lesson from his anger issues. Johnny (Played by William Zabka) I say i always feel bad for the guy. To me Johnny never gets a break in season one and two. You can see that he’s tired of dwelling in the past and wants to move on and try to better his life. His ex wife is just the worst and kid Robby ( Played by Tanner Buchana) is just a complete moron. I don’t really blame him though due to that his mother kept saying negative things about his father when in reality he cares and is trying to be in his life.

This season was just crazy with so many mixed emotions and a very strong lesson in life where I think a lot of people should really check it out. This episode is mostly focused on the kids this time. Yes, we still get a little Danny and Johnny here and there but really it’s about the kids and how easy it manipulates them. John Kreese (played by Martin Kove) returns to Cobra Kia and is one of the biggest poisons in that dojo.
(Note: You’re going to hate him!)
You’re going to be seeing some familiar faces from that past not only John also a name drop from the past. We are going to see some new faces and a good amount of comedy when needed. There are moments in the show as if I’m seeing the Power Rangers. You’ll know what I’m talking about once you get to that episode. Also, the kids in this season you see the changes they go through from season 1 till now. As a parent, it does make you wonder what’s going on in school or their personal life. But you’ll notice overall that what’s wrong is a lack of communication between everyone but that’s the real world.

Over all This show was great and the fact it’s only 30 min per episode makes me want to see more! Also the ending is just nuts! Makes me wonder so much and question if season 3 is going to show more images and video from the movies also if we’re going to get a surprise visit from the past. Guess we’ll never know. Thank you so much for reading this and also make sure to check us out on YouTube for our podcast and if you saw this season what are your thoughts? Let’s talk about it!
