An expansion for Destiny is expected this fall, and a leak has given out the expansion’s name and theme.
Kotaku published some leaked marketing materials that peg the upcoming expansion as Rise of Iron. The materials include a poster that shows Lord Saladin, leader of the Iron Banner, standing in front of what appears to be Earth’s Cosmodrome wall. The marketing materials were leaked on Reddit and have been confirmed by two sources familiar with Bungie.
The new expansion will include a new raid, believed to be Fallen themed, and the sources say it will be bigger than the two year-one DLC packs. They also say the raid is loosely based on the raid that was cut from the House of Wolves DLC.
The Rise of Iron expansion is expected to be released in September, and Bungie should be officially revealing it at this year’s E3.
