Namco Bandai has announced that there will be an open beta for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. No date is announced for the open beta.
The beta takes place in Conton City, a new hub world that is allegedly seven times the size of the original. Players will also have “Expert Mode” to take for a spin. In this new mode, up to six players will be able to battle “giant NPC bosses.” The Gamescom trailer showed a team of six players battling Oozaru or Broly. The potential for absolute chaos as six players pile on special after special on a boss looks amazing. It is that mode that I’m most excited about.

It wouldn’t be a sequel if there were no new characters, and Namco Bandai has already confirmed that Majin Vegeta has made the roster. Whether there will be any more additions or not, we will have to see.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has a release date of October 28, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
