Excited?

In one more day, we will find out how Microsoft’s Project Scorpio plans to outdo Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro.

EuroGamer’s Digital Foundry will have an exclusive first look at Microsoft’s newest of the iteration tomorrow. The sneak peek will begin tomorrow, April 6th, at 9AM EDT. Interested parties will be able to see exactly what’s under the hood of Scorpio ahead of E3 2017.

It’s doubtful Digital Foundry will disclose a price – or even a proper name – for Project Scorpio. But it’s pretty much certain that the upgraded console’s specs will be shown. Initial specs on the Scorpio boasted strong graphical prowess, claiming 6 teraflops of processing capability. For reference, the Xbox One sports 1.3 TFLOPS and the PS4 Pro has 4.2 TFLOPS.

Windows Central claims the upgraded Xbox One will have a more compact design thanks to cooling improvements. They also state that the power brick present in the original version will be nixed in favor of an internal power supply. The Xbox One S benefits from a similar design.

What other surprises will not be known until tomorrow’s reveal. The prospect of having to wake up early to catch the reveal does not please me. I’ll have to temper my disgust with the knowledge that I’ll finally know what Microsoft has in store for the console that bears my zodiac sign.

He also goes to bars with an NES controller hoping that entering the Konami code will give him thirty chances with the drunk chick at the bar. His interests include vodka, old-school games, women, vodka, and women gamers who drink vodka.
