Dead Rising 4 was announced as a timed exclusive for the Xbox One. For any PS4 players that feel bummed out with that news, Capcom may have a pretty cool stopgap for you.
Exophase has released a trophy list for Dead Rising, the original Xbox 360 exclusive released in 2006. They have developed a habit for spoiling game releases very early on, so many are speculating this is more of the same. While a re-release of Dead Rising may seem odd considering that Dead Rising 4 is supposed to release this December, the fact that it’s an Xbox One timed exclusive may have something to do with it. PS4 owners will not be able to play the new game for a year.
There is no word on what changes – visual or otherwise – the game will have if and when it’s released on the PS4. In fact, Capcom hasn’t even commented on the game. However, you would figure that a graphical upgrade is at least on tap.
