Well, there goes my Christmas.
A post on Ubisoft’s blog reports that South Park The Fractured But Whole will be delayed to Q1 2017. It was originally scheduled to be released on December 6th.
The post explains that delay is needed because “the development team wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.”
South Park The Fractured But Whole is the sequel to 2014’s South Park The Stick of Truth. The sequel continues the adventures of the New Kid with the kids of South Park. Instead of the wizards and warriors setting for the first game, the sequel features the South Park gang dressed in superhero garb. People who pre-ordered The Fractured But Whole will get The Stick of Truth for free.
In other news, the South Park TV show that spawned the game, just launched its 20th season on Comedy Central. Member when South Park first started? I Member.
