Watch Dogs 2 Revealed Prior to E3

Ubisoft, not content to wait for E3, has started revealing all sorts of information about the upcoming Watch Dogs 2.

The French publisher has set up a Web site that is counting down to June 8th at 9:00 AM PDT. The site will host Ubisoft’s reveal event for Watch Dogs 2. One day ahead of the reveal event, however, an advertisement has appeared that reveals some details about the game.

The advertisement, which was posted on IGN and later removed, showed that Watch Dogs 2 is set to come out on November 15th. A screenshot of the advertisement, posted on Eurogamer, confirms the rumors that the game would be set in San Francisco. It also shows a new protagonist that matches lead character art posted to Instagram by his motion capture artist last month.

After the reveal event, the next formal event scheduled is Ubisoft’s formal briefing during E3, which is scheduled for June 13th.
