CD Projekt Red has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will have a “Game of the Year” edition. Called “Complete Edition” in some regions, it is set to release on August 30th. It will contain the base game along with the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions, plus DLC offerings like different costumes.
The publisher had hinted in July that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would see a cumulative version for sale. They never confirmed the date until now. It will retail for $49.99 and see a release on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
Amazon has already posted a product page showing the Complete Edition at that price point. Box art for the Xbox One edition was posted as well. The box art mentions the inclusion of the expansions and the DLC on it:
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a very successful release. The game has sold nearly 10 million units since its May 2015 release, and is is the final chapter for Geralt, the game’s main protagonist.
